About This Role
Salesupply is at a tipping point. We're transforming from a service company into an AI-powered operations platform. As Head of AI & Data, you define what that looks like. You'll build the AI team, set the strategy, and ensure AI isn't a side project but the core of how we operate. You report directly to the CEO.
What You'll Do
- Develop the AI strategy and roadmap: which processes to automate first, where's the most value?
- Build and lead the AI team (engineers, data scientists, ML engineers)
- Set up data infrastructure: from raw operational data to usable AI pipelines
- Measure and communicate ROI of AI initiatives to management and clients
- AI governance and ethics: ensure our AI applications are reliable, transparent, and compliant
- Collaborate with Sales to position AI capabilities as a USP for enterprise clients
What You Bring
- 7+ years experience in data science, ML engineering, or AI product management
- Proven track record of taking AI projects from concept to production
- Experience building and managing technical teams
- Strategic thinker who can also execute operationally
- Business acumen: ROI calculations, stakeholder management, vendor selection
- Excellent communication in Dutch and English
Nice to Have
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or customer service
- Knowledge of the European AI Act and data privacy regulations
- Experience at a scale-up or company in transition
